Press releases and supplied material
Receiving a press release does not guarantee publication. Ferdiox may reject, shorten, rewrite, fact-check, contextualise, combine or remove supplied material. Publication of a release does not by itself mean that Ferdiox endorses the organisation, product, claim or viewpoint described.
Where an item is substantially based on a release or supplied statement, we aim to make its origin clear through wording, attribution, format or labelling appropriate to the article. Facts from releases may also be used as leads for independent reporting.
Paid and sponsored content
Content for which Ferdiox or Astronomica Ltd receives payment, services or another material benefit will be labelled in a way intended to be understandable to an ordinary reader, such as “Sponsored”, “Advertisement”, “Partner content” or an equivalent description. The label used depends on the arrangement.
Content supplied via the Ferdiox Pro portal will have a disclaimer at the bottom of the article. More info about Pro placements can be found on the Ferdiox Pro website linked above.
Commercial partners may agree a factual brief and review their own quotations or product details, but they do not receive an undisclosed right to rewrite independent coverage.
Affiliate links and products
An article may contain a link that can generate a commission if a reader buys something. Where that relationship exists, we aim to disclose it near the relevant content. A commission does not increase the price charged by Ferdiox, but the retailer’s own terms apply.
Accuracy and claims
Advertisers, sponsors and submitters are responsible for supporting claims they provide and for holding necessary rights and permissions. Ferdiox may request evidence, edit a claim or decline material, but publication is not a warranty that every claim is complete or suitable for every reader.
Corrections and contact
Commercial content remains subject to our Corrections Policy and applicable advertising and consumer law. Questions about a label or relationship can be sent to hello@astronomica.uk. We will consider genuine concerns but do not guarantee a response or change unless required by law.
